What does this mean to you?
We started decorating homes and making silk floral designs because we loved helping people love their homes. We opened the store because we wanted to make it easier for people to have access to the things that would help them decorate their homes.
We are still doing what we love to do. And the store helped us build relationships with vendors so that we can easily provide to you the things you want to put those finishing touches on your office or home.


Finishing Touches was started in 2002 by LuAnn Ziles. She began working out of her home, making silk floral arrangements for family and friends. As time went by her client list started growing and she began assisting clients in decorating their homes. She absolutely loved helping people love their homes; nothing made her happier.
With assistance from family and friends, she opened a new boutique, Finishing Touches Home Décor in August 2005. Along with making her usual services more easily available to customers, the store carried a large assortment of home accessories. The mission was to work hard to accommodate each customer in making their home unique, and their house a place they were proud to call home, whether that was helping them choose a new lamp out of the store or visiting their house for a consultation.

The need for in-home decorating services was growing. The consultations were taking away Finishing Touches’ focus from the store. A decision was made to close the store on October 1st 2008.

Finishing Touches is now able to solely focus on helping customers make their house a home with in-home consultations, in-home decorating, custom silk floral designs and personal shopping.

Having started Finishing Touches in 2002 and having a storefront from 2005-2008 has helped us forge relationships with a number of vendors that can provide special pricing for:

• Home Accessories - Clocks, Bookends, Lamps, etc.
