What do you do with a room that is not being used?

Casey and Mike's room in the front of house (what is this room? living room, study, play room?). Casey and Mike already have an office, they have a great family room. This room was just a empty room. Casey and Mike hired me to make something of this room. It was the first room people saw when the enter there home. So we made it a reading room.


Casey loves red, so we made an accent wall with her favorite color. Then went shopping for affordable bookshelves and comfortable chairs to relax in.


We then made the wall in the hallway for family pictures to be seen when sitting in the new chairs. These pictures are also seen by people entering the front door, instead of the blank wall previously seen.


While shopping of the chairs and bookshelf, we found a complementary piece for the foyer.

This is a picture of the new chairs we placed in front of the front window. It is an inviting addition to people visiting their home.
